The information below outlines the planning process and guidelines which we believe are required by a local authority prior implementing a new road scheme. As you will see DCC have ignored most of the major guidelines within this process that are for our safety. When accidents happens on Duffield Road these elements represent the reasons why. This leaves DCC completely open to legal action on the grounds of negligence when accident happen, and they will happen!

We are developing a case to be presented to legal council should Derby City Council decide not to reverse the scheme or make the appropriate levels of alteration to increase safety.
